Five French patent applications. Five Defence-procedure authorisations.
Quantum Excellium maintains a portfolio of five French patent applications currently under examination by the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). For all five applications, INPI has notified authorisation to disclose and exploit the invention after the opinion of the Minister responsible for Defence.
What this authorisation means
The authorisation lifts the secrecy obligation linked to French national-defence requirements. It does not constitute a patent grant, a technical certification, a security clearance, or a commercial endorsement by the French Ministry of the Armed Forces. Examination of each application continues before INPI.

How a client can verify
DATA INPI is the official public patent database. It allows the public to consult published French patent applications and their bibliographic, legal-status and file information.
French patent applications are normally made public 18 months after the filing or priority date. The applicant may request earlier publication. Before publication, a recent application may therefore not yet appear in public DATA INPI searches.
For pre-publication documentary confirmation, redacted copies of the relevant INPI notifications can be provided without exposing private address data.
Transparency note
These references are application numbers for pending French patent applications, not numbers of granted patents. Publication, examination and eventual grant are separate procedural stages.
